Mighty Haus

I have been a fan of Maggie's personal blog, Mighty Girl, for a few years now. She publishes the shopping blogs: Mighty Goods, Mighty Junior and now...Mighty Haus. {Mighty Goods was one of Time Magazine’s Top 50 Cool Sites of the Year}

A mouse pad comprised of thirty sheets of graph paper. The architect in me is impressed! I have a difficult time organizing my paperwork (anyone else?). I'm trying to declutter my apartment...but it is a work in progress! This Tower of Clips from the MoMA store interests me:

My list, in no particular order...

2) Take fiddle lessons at the Old Town School of Folk Music
3) Own two rescue dogs (his and hers)
4) Cook a traditional Thanksgiving dinner
5) Explore New England in the Fall
6) Take a scenic bicycle tour in Holland when the tulips are in bloom
7) Tour a tea plantation
8) Get back into fine art photography
9) Go back to Cortona, Italy with good friends
10) Rethink the office environment...form a place with people that I love

Introduction to 100 things

Warm, summer weather equates a lot of good company, yummy food...and great music. This is not to say that music isn't enjoyable in say, the winter when Chicago is around -5 degrees, but summer music is different. You are in a different frame of mind!

I love folk and bluegrass music. One of my favorite bands right now is Railroad Earth (pictured). If you're a fan of the Grateful Dead, or really Americana-based jam bands in general, then they are probably right up your alley!

One of my goals in life is to attend the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Colorado. The festival is on my list of "100 Things to Do Before I Go."
