So. Many. Baby gifts. This year. :) Thank goodness for freezer paper stenciling. Baby Trent {college roomie's new baby}, little Bennett {the son of Brad's childhood friend} and miss Alice {former neighborhood buddies... Texas is too far}.

Short post. I've had a busy week coupled with a nasty sinus headache. Here are a few projects that I've wrapped up. Several of my friends gave birth to cute, little boys within the last few months...

We had another she + him art/ studio time yesterday. Here's a sneak peek of some of our projects. Brad was busy painting. I worked on some freezer paper stenciling and made a few note cards for a family member. I stopped in at the Paper Source on Friday.. LOVE that store.

This is Just a Test

One of my projects from Sunday was to try out freezer paper stenciling. I used this tutorial. I gave life to a yellow t-shirt that had an annoying little stain. I found the sparrow image online and purchased the chocolate fabric paint at Michael's. The tutorial is remarkably fairly easy.

Montgomery Wards sewing machine

Brad's grandmother found a {vintage} Wards sewing machine for me at an estate sale a few weeks ago. The Owner's Guide mentions it to be a Wards 14 Cam Automatic Zig Zag Sewing Machine Model URR 285. She gave me a little tutorial at a family BBQ Sunday evening. Over the past few weeks, I've bookmarked several blogs with a few projects I'd like to try. I'm hopeful this will turn into a fine-art hobby verses home economics {or maybe a combination thereof}.
