I am going to this. I already signed-up for this convention but viewing an outrageous human-powered flying competition seems pretty awesome!

We spent our weekend viewing a similar event to Brad's. Over here, in Philly, they had the Red Bull Soapbox Derby! IN THE HURRICANE no less. We looked like your typical "goobers in plastic ponchos" and we watched them crash. It was fun though!
