My brother, the part-time farmer, was showcased at Madison's a few weeks back. It is the restaurant at Old Edwards Inn and Spa in Highlands, North Carolina. The facility is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The town of Highlands is situated 4000+ ft in the majestic Appalachian Mountains. The chef at Madison's created a six-course meal highlighting the vendors he uses at the restaurant.
Now for little-sister bragging rights... let’s meet for dinner! Check out this beautiful food from the Taylor's farm (it is very much a family operation). Eggs, bacon, pork and produce from their farm:
